In October, 1990, two equestrian companies merged, enabling improved operating efficiency for both companies and better service for you, the customer. The companies, formerly known as Simco & Longhorn are now Simco-Longhorn Co., Inc. The Simco plant consists of 130,000 square feet. It remains in Chattanooga, TN and will continue to make quality Simco produdcts including saddles, strap goods, pads, horse clothing and other equestrian items. Simco products have been recognized as world leaders since 1933. The Longhorn Leather plant remains in Greenville, Texas where only the best roping, cutting, show, pleasure saddles, and strap goods are handcrafted. We will continue to make the always popular Longhorn and Billy Cook Saddlery labels in Greenville, Texas. Longhorn handcrafted saddles have been the favorite of thousands since 1913. Simco Saddles

Simco has been producing saddles, tack and equestrian goods since 1933. We continue to produce quality saddles and tack from quality materials and quality workmanship.

The plant consists of 130,000 square feet of manufacturing and warehouse space. We have 20 craftsmen that make everything from saddles to tie straps and horse blankets.

SimFlex Tree

The SimFlex tree is one unit molded from a structural elastomer (a strong, non-porous flexible material with many other uses: i.e., mower seats, boot soles, snow skis, etc). The flexing of the tree allows more freedom of movement for the horse. Swell and cantle piece made of fiberglass covered wood. Tree weighs only 7 lbs (2 – 7 lbs lighter than other trees in use today). Made in USA and tested for safety and durability.
